Hello, I'm Olayinka Otuniyi or Yinka for short. I
currently work as a Systems and Software Developer at
SEM Ltd
My typical work day consits of developing real time CRUD
applications, webapps and reports for measuring
manufacturing output which involves careful scripting of
backend data used to measure KPIs by management. This is
a very interesting role as I able to utilise and make
use of both my engineering intuition and love for
programming on a daily basis.
Ever since I can rememeber, I have always been facinated
by technology and how it impacts our day to day lives,
studying a degree in mechanical engineering helped me to
discover the intricacy of mechanical systems and during
this time I became very drawn towards the programming of
mechanical systems and how their electrical components
make them perform better through efficient scripting and
alot of my free time outside work is spent learning new
technologies and catching up on latest findings in the
space exploration industry.
